Jo Jingles

Today we had a very busy day. We walked along the canal to Gamston to attend a new music class - Jo Jingles. Our friend Gaynor leads the class and it is really good fun! Cas enjoyed it!

Afterwards we got the bus in to town and went to the Broadway to see Marley and Me. It was quite a good film . . well it was OK - bit lightweight.. and Jennifer Anison definitely looks like she has had some work done! We came back home and took Mo to the park. After all this walking and sitting in the park over the last few days I had a sunburnt face and arms!

Backpack baby

We've had a really busy couple of weeks! Lots of lunches with friends in the park in the hot weather and a lovely Sunday on the Southbank in London. We walked along the river and had a pizza at a Strada. Because we had Mo with us we sat outside and had Cas on my knee - he helped himself to most of my Pizza and all my mozzarella salad! He was in his new BushBaby backpack. He loved it . .he sang away on Daddy back and even managed a sleep for an hour or so. At night we had a buffet made by Katty and Matt and Haley came over for several bottles of wine!

Cas has started mimicking what we do . .he was saying achoo! Which was really cute . .but then he stopped and does this funny sniffing thing!

Playing in the sun

Last week when the sun was shining a bit more - Duncan and Kirsty came over and took Cas to the park for a play on the swings . . he also showed them how to both learn and groove . .

And out the other side!

Well Cas is back on fine form - hurrah! Today he has been posing for picures for a present that we have been making for Grandma. He is looking forward to Saturday which is his first full day and night away from Mummy. Daddy will be looking after him (apart from when the footie is on when Granny and Pete will be helping) On Sunday Daddy and Cas will be coming to London to meet Mummy - hopefully Cas will be a good boy!

We entered the arena of the unwell!

Our Easter plans got cancelled this week as Cas came down with a nasty (although it looks shortlived) cold. At least it explains the previous few days worth of grumpiness when not even his new shades could cheer him up!

Swing it baby

This week Cas enjoyed his first trip to Asda! He loved the trolley - but on the way around without me looking he managed to eat a big chunk from the corner of my shopping list! He also managed to steal some mints - we wondered where he had been getting them from!

Lots has been happening this week. I went out on Saturday with a group of work friends for a meal. We ended up in the Bomb - which is now called something else. I felt old and uncool in there! All the women were gorgeous and dolled up like members of girls aloud. Still I got ID over a bottle of wine in M&S - so not all bad.

Cas went to the park with his friends today. He loved the swings! Weeeeeeeee!

He was really good at swinging himself!
